“Take-Off”
I got to thinking the other day and realized, we create some amazing things. Take this plane for instance, a Boeing 777; it weighs about 500,000 lbs. (14,175 kg) at take-off, and ‘cruises’ through the airspace, 32,000 feet above the earth, at 510 mph (821 km/hr). This feat baffles the mind, and was thought of at one point in our short existence, as being impossible.
If you ever feel that something is unattainable or you feel that you’ve reached your inventive capacity, take a look in the sky - there will likely be a 15 ton hunk of metal soaring through the air at near mach speed - then, tell yourself that we, as an intellectual, creative species, are capable of overcoming such improbable circumstances. Expand your mind, maximize your thrust potential (pause)… and just ‘Take-Off’.
