It’s late, I can’t sleep. Messin around with Harmony.

‘Bass Man’
My uncles, Rick and Phil, recently put together a band called “The Roof Rats.” The two have played music on and off for 30 years and their experience shows - and I’m not just saying that because they’re family, they really do put it down.
Currently, they play gigs out of Vegas and do authentic covers of pretty well known and lesser known songs. I’m working on getting them to record a track to share here, but studio time is not necessarily in the cards at the moment, but hopefully soon.
This shot is of Rick and his bass. The bass is one of my, low-key, favorite instruments because of its unabashed integrality to the entirety of world music. Cameo’d this guy here also because it was his birthday, yesterday. Happy Birthday, Rick!
Enjoy.

Portrait of me taken by a friend. I do hate being photographed, but love the photographer’s expression and utilization of subject-matter.
Enjoy.

The very first photo I took with my most prized possession of 2010. It was on the Fourth of July - The Day of America’s Independence. This day marked independence for my expression: everything I’ve always wanted to say is communicated by the use a shutter and my vision.
Today, I stand at about 10,000 exposures - 2011 should see 20,000 more.
Cheers to amateur photography.
Enjoy.
