Just found a shot I took a while ago, and it flooded my brain with some good memories. I thought I should pay tribute to them, so I’m posting it…
Anyways, this was taken on the Santa Cruz Pier and captures my definition of the essence of Cali Cool. I mean, who doesn’t want to go to an amusement park on the beach?
This is a really cool place with so-so people, and I say this because many people I met were complacent or listed grievances: homeless people, tourists, parking issues, parking meters, and noise pollution as things that ‘ruined their experience living there.’
